Luyện nghe bài hát Old Doc Brown

He was just an old doctor
In a little country
and fortune had passed him by
Though we never saw him

As day by day in his way
He'd us one and all
Many a forgot to pay
Although Doc's fees small

he needed his dimes and there were
Times that he'd a fee
He'd it onto some poor soul
That needed it than he

He had to his furniture
Couldn't pay his office
So to a dusty room over a stable
Doc Brown and his went

And on the hitchin' at the kerb below
To his wares
He nailed a little that read
"Doc Brown has upstairs"

And one day he answer
they knocked upon his door
Old Doc was layin' down
But his was no more

They found him there in that old black
On his face was a smile of
But all the money they could on him
Was a quarter and a cent

So they opened up his
And what they saw gave their hearts a
each debtor's name old Doc
Had these words, "Paid in full"

Old Doc had
A funeral fine enough for a
a ghastly joke our town was broke
And no one give a thing

'Cept Jones an
He did mighty
Donated an old iron
He had never been able to

And the funeral
It much for grace and pomp and the style
But those wagon of mourners
They out for more than a mile

We wanted to him a monument
We kinda figured we him one
'Cause he made our town a place
For all the good done

We up that old hitchin' post
Where Doc had a sign
painted it white and to all of us
It certainly did look

Now the and the snows
Have washed our white trimmin's of paint
ain't nothin' left but Doc's own sign
And that's gettin' pretty

But you can still see old hitchin' post
As if in answer to our
Mutually tellin' the whole wide
Doc has moved upstairs
